Carleen and Jason are married, y’all!!! I had absolutely the BEST time capturing their wedding day, and I’m so excited to share it with all of you!
When I showed up at Barnhill Vineyards in Anna, Texas, I was completely overwhelmed with how beautiful the venue was. I had never been out to this new venue before, and I hope it’s not my last visit! The vineyard was absolutely breathtaking, the barn beautiful, and the animals (there were two donkeys and horses) were so charming! When I made my way to Carleen, I was so warmly welcomed and immediately just felt the love and anticipation in the room. The relationship between Carleen and Jason’s daughter, Claire, was seriously one of the most touching and loving I’ve ever seen. I know I’m not the only one who teared up multiple times that day!
I loved being able to capture all of the special details that Carleen meticulously planned. In particular, I loved the puzzle piece she sewed into Jason’s suit jacket. It was such a sweet nod to just how perfectly they fit together.
Following an intimate ceremony in the vineyard was their reception in the barn. The décor was a perfect blend of rustic and chic, and the stemless wine glass favors were really top notch. Guests dined on true Texas BBQ, fed carrots to the donkeys, and made s’mores around a bonfire leading up to Carleen and Jason’s sparkler send-off. It was truly a magical day to be a part of, and I am so thankful to have been able to capture it!
Carleen and Jason, thank you so much for inviting me into your special day and allowing me to be a part of this season of life with y’all! I am truly so blessed to have gotten to know both of you and I wish you nothing but a lifetime of love, laughter, and chili cook-off victories!
