This past weekend, I had the pleasure of capturing Juanita and Richard’s magical wedding day at Cathedral Guadelupe and City Place. Having worked with these two on their engagement session, I knew going in how sweet and genuine they both are. And their wedding day did not disappoint! Both Richard and Juanita were so warm and welcoming, and really wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time. Their calm demeanor and willingness to be flexible when a torrential downpour interrupted their day, made the whole day a joy.
Their reception was truly magical. The decor was so elegant and traditional, and the whole event was filled with class. So I routinely cry at weddings. It’s just a thing. But I’ve never ugly cried at a wedding quite how I did at one moment during their reception. There was a sweet moment that Richard and Juanita planned at the beginning of their reception for a special guest of honor that was so unbelievably touching, I could not help but be overcome with emotions. Luckily, I was not alone in this!
Juanita and Richard, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this special season of life with you guys! I truly feel like you are each other’s perfect match, and could not be happier for you!
