I just got back from Mary and Roy’s wedding down in San Antonio, and guys, let me tell you, it was breathtaking!!!! I loved all of the vibrant colors (they chose the traditional fiesta colors for their color palette), the music, the food, literally all. of. it.
When I arrived at the Hyatt Riverwalk, I was immediately greeted with warmth and energy! I had captured the wedding of Mary’s Matron of Honor (Anna) back in January, so it was kind of a reunion of sorts! Mary was so energetic and upbeat that if there were any nerves at all, they were impossible to detect! A nice counterbalance to Mary’s energy was Roy’s cool and calm demeanor. One thing I didn’t realize about Roy was his love of Batman (see evidence below). These two are the yin to each other’s yang and mesh so perfectly together.
Mary and Roy exchanged their vows at the Little Flower Basilica, a historic Catholic Church and one of only four churches in Texas to receive the papal designation of “minor basilica”.
After the ceremony, we all hit up the Riverwalk and the Alamo for some more portraits before heading to quite possibly the best. Reception. Ever. Seriously, all of the latin music, vibrant colors, and amazing dancing leading up to their maraca send-off was just out of this world!
Mary and Roy, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I had the best time celebrating you and wish you both a lifetime of happiness!!!
