Sarah + Dylan | Mckinney Wedding | La Cour

Sarah is one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever met.  Her spirit is warm, kind, and genuine.  Her smile can light up a room, so I think Mother Nature knew that if any bride could handle a freak cold front for their outdoor wedding, it would be Sarah.  I arrived at La Cour in McKinney, Texas, and immediately got the biggest hug from Sarah, who had had her fair share of a rough week leading up to her wedding day.  But her spirit was infectious and she was so so happy to finally be marrying Dylan, her best friend and boyfriend of 8 years.  After a first look with her Dad and a first look with Dylan, I won’t even try to cover up the fact that my watery eyes weren’t exactly from allergies…

They had the most beautiful ceremony outside under an arbor and even thought to bring blankets for their guests, a testament to how truly warm and caring they both are!  We spent portrait time in a cotton field, which has been a bucket list photography location for me, and I could not help but feel just how strong their love really is.   There is such a sweetness between them and their love for each other is undeniable.

One thing I really loved was that, even with the freezing temperatures for their outdoor reception, their joy and spirit never wavered!  Had it not been freezing, Sarah’s blush sequined jacket might never have made an appearance!  And let’s be real, that jacket NEEDED to be shared with the world!  I’m so excited to share their wedding day with all of you!

Sarah and Dylan, thank you SO much for allowing me to be a part of this special season of your lives.  It was truly an honor to be able to capture your wedding day.  I love both of y’all so much!
