Kati + Dalton | Worthington Renaissance | 5.06.17

Kati and Dalton are married, y’all!!!  This amazing couple wed May 6th at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, and their reception was held on the Terrace at The Worthington Renaissance Hotel – Fort Worth.  To say that this wedding was absolutely beautiful would be a complete understatement.  It was just complete perfection!  Kati and her bridesmaids were probably the sweetest group of girls I’ve ever worked with.

This couple is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well.  They shared a first look in the beautiful courtyard at the church, and I may have teared up a little when Kati made her way down the aisle (but let’s be honest, who didn’t??).

I loved how rooted in faith both of their families are, and how important it was to incorporate sentimental items into their day.  The earrings Kati wore were given to Dalton’s grandmother from his grandfather on their wedding day.  When she mentioned this at her bridal session, I got chills.  That’s the kind of tradition and heirloom quality I love being part of.  On top of that, the ring bearer’s pillow was compiled from 3 generations of wedding dresses and accessories, including a piece from Kati’s own dress.

It is truly heartwarming to see how fully integrated these two families already were prior to the wedding day.  At the rehearsal dinner, there was a moment when both sets of parents shared a group hug.  I love that!  Just pure love and joy surrounding this amazing couple!

The venue and décor was absolutely stunning, and the live band was a real crowd-pleaser!!  As Kati and Dalton shared their last dance to “At Last”, I couldn’t help but think how magical the whole day was to witness.

Kati and Dalton made their grand exit through a shower of silver streamers on their way to a horse-drawn carriage.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Jones!  I wish you nothing but happy times ahead!  Thank you for allowing me to be part of Day 1 of Happily Ever After!
