Regann’s Bridal Session

I’m so excited to finally be able to share Regann’s bridal session!  Regann and David were married on May 7, 2016.  Her bridal session was just a couple of weeks prior, and we traveled to Telferner, TX to this amazing ranch (BIG thank you to my sister-in-law, Ana, for securing the location!).  Being a city girl and having cows walk right up to me was kind of an amazing experience!  I’m not sure quite what I expected them to do, but it was pretty awesome for my first “ag” experience!  Regann didn’t think anything of it as the cows approached us, so I guess I have plenty to learn about being rustic!

regann-1 So one of my favorite things about Regann is how she’s the perfect mix of country and class.  I love that she brought her compound bow to the session, burustic bridal portraitt that her dress was so elegant.  The juxtaposition of rugged and chic was literally every thing a photographer could wish for!  It may go down on my list as my favorite wedding dress ever!  I had worked with her before on a portrait session about a year back and remember her being a dream to photograph.  Her bridal session was no different.  She is such a natural in front of the camera and carried herself with such poise for such a young woman!  Her love for her fiance and her family just emanated from her being.  One image that was really important to her was the one below.  Being so close to her parents, she wanted to give them something to show that, even though she may be getting married, she was still their little girl.  It took some sneakiness to get this image since her mom accompanied her to the session, but it was so worth it!  Seeing their faces when she presented it to them at the reception was priceless!
