Usually at an engagement session, we try to avoid it ending in the back of a police car….well, that didn’t quite happen at this session! But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start at the beginning….
I met Melanie and Robert in Downtown Dallas for their engagement session, and let me just say, this couple is completely adorable. I think at one point, Robert even turned to me and said that they didn’t perceive themselves as a very photogenic couple…..seriously…..look at these two!!!! They’re gorgeous! You may notice that Robert is typically on the left and Melanie on the right…..totally strategic…..these two wanted to make sure their “good side” was captured! Though, I’ll be honest, I didn’t detect a “bad side” between the two of them! On top of being a beautiful couple, their love was so obvious! Many times I would capture them whispering to each other, just so in tune with the other. I just loved how comfortable they were with each other. You just can’t hide that kind of chemistry!
Robert is a police officer, so when he saw a parked police car, he got excited to use that for some images. The officer in the vehicle was super nice and willing to let Robert and Melanie use his vehicle for some impromptu shots. Robert even put Melanie in the back seat while rocking the standard issue aviator glasses. Definitely a first for me! And I should mention, a first for Melanie, too! These two were so much fun to work with!
Robert and Melanie will be married November 11 at Bear Creek Ranch and I. Can. Not. Wait! I’m sure it will prove to be another fun and love-filled experience!
